The City of Waxahachie has named Keith Brown its October 2026 Employee Spotlight honoree, according to the city’s spotlight page, which was updated Sept. 30.
Matt Massey, the city’s Streets Operations Manager, said in the city’s write-up that Brown takes pride in his work and is devoted to the city and its residents. Massey said Brown works after hours during severe weather and helps with special events on weekends.
The Employee Spotlight Program shares the stories and contributions of city employees. September’s honoree was Amparo Aleman, who has served 19 years with the Municipal Court. Earlier 2026 spotlights are listed on the city’s page.
