Boat Dock Park and Spring Park will remain open for Labor Day weekend, according to the City of Waxahachie. Both parks will be open Saturday, September 5, through Monday, September 7, from sunrise to 10 p.m.
Boat Dock Park, at 91 Lakeshore Dr., has 112 total spaces, including 83 standard vehicle spots, 4 accessible spots, and 25 boat and trailer spots. Spring Park, at 501 Lakeshore Dr., has 71 total spaces, including 62 standard vehicle spots, 5 accessible spots, and 4 non-motorized vessel spots.
Staff will track capacity at both parks. Once all spaces are filled, entry will close until space opens up. Roadside and other unauthorized parking is prohibited and subject to citation and towing. Transit, charter, and school buses, along with recreational vehicles, are not permitted.
