Old Town paving continues through Aug. 21, no road closures expected

Midlothian's Old Town Road Rehab Project moves into its paving phase this week, with no closures but possible short delays.

Paving in Midlothian’s Old Town Road Rehab Project began Saturday, Aug. 15, and continues through Friday, Aug. 21, according to the City of Midlothian.

No roads will be closed during the work, but residents should expect short traffic delays. Flaggers will direct traffic through the work zones, and residents will have access to their homes except for brief periods when the paver crosses their driveway.

The schedule includes S. 6th St. from Main St. to Alabama on Aug. 15; Ave. E from 7th St. to Overlook Dr. on Aug. 17; Rockcliff Dr., Ave. C, and Ave. D on Aug. 18; W. Ave. C and W. Ave. B on Aug. 20; and N. 9th St. and E. Ave. E on Aug. 21.
