Midlothian City Council will hold a public hearing on the proposed fiscal year 2026-27 budget at its Aug. 25 meeting, beginning at 6 p.m., according to the City of Midlothian.

A second public hearing on a proposed tax increase is set for the Sept. 8 meeting, also at 6 p.m. Council is scheduled to take action on both the budget and the tax rate at the Sept. 8 meeting.
