Ellis County Commissioners Court to gather for treasurer's swearing-in

A quorum of the Ellis County Commissioners Court may be present Thursday, September 3, at 1 p.m. for the swearing-in of Lauri Hartley as Ellis County Treasurer, according to Ellis County. The ceremony will be held in the 504th District Courtroom on the third floor of the Ellis County Courts Building, 109 S. Jackson St. in Waxahachie.

Ellis County said the gathering is not an official meeting of the Commissioners Court, and the court will not deliberate or act on any county business.
